- Ensure the smooth operation of shipping services and the welfare of the crew
- Arrange for pilot and tug services to facilitate the safe docking and undocking of ships.
- Coordinate the timely loading and unloading of cargo to prevent any delays.
- Manage customs documentation and ensure compliance with all local, national, and international laws regarding cargo handling and crew welfare.
- Provide logistical support to the crew, including arranging transport, accommodation, medical care, and other essential services.
- Communicate effectively with the ship’s captain, crew members, and local service providers, ensuring all parties are informed of schedules, delays, and requirements.
- Liaise with customs, immigration, and health officials to ensure all necessary procedures are followed for crew and cargo.
- Maintain detailed records of operations, transactions, and communications for accountability and to provide reports to the shipping company.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or related fields
- Relevant certifications in shipping, logistics, or port management
- Hands Own Experience in Crew's Payment Management
- Knowledge of maritime laws, customs regulations, and environmental policies
- Proficiency in maritime-specific software and general IT skills
- Fluency in English, Hindi, Malayalam
- Hands-on training or experience in maritime operations is crucial
