Description:
The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing on-site activities for steel and metal fabrication projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of fabrication processes, project management, and safety regulations. The ideal candidates will be proactive problem solvers with strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Supervise day-to-day operations at the job site, ensuring that projects are executed according to specifications and schedules.
- Quality Control: Monitor work progress and quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with subcontractors, laborers, and other engineers to coordinate work and resolve issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material usage, and work completed.
- Problem-Solving: Identify potential challenges on-site and develop effective solutions to keep projects on track.
- Client Liaison: Communicate regularly with project managers and clients to provide updates and address any concerns.
- Safety Management: Promote a culture of safety on-site, conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
