Our client is a leading construction consultancy firm renowned for delivering high-quality, innovative projects. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled Site Structural Engineer for the supervision of a prestigious high-rise tower project in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities for Site Structural Engineer:
- Supervise and oversee all structural engineering activities related to the high-rise tower project, ensuring compliance with design specifications and Dubai Municipality rules and regulations.
- Collaborate with the supervision team, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure structural elements are executed according to approved plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to structural design.
- Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and material submittals.
- Resolve on-site structural issues in collaboration with the project team to maintain the integrity of the structural design.
- Ensure all structural work aligns with the project schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Enforce health and safety standards on-site.
- Facilitate effective communication between the design team, construction team, and clients.
Qualifications Site Structural Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Site Structural Engineer within a supervision team on high-rise projects in Dubai.
- In-depth knowledge of Dubai Municipality rules and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully supervising high-rise construction projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficient in using relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and other structural analysis software.
- A professional engineering license (PE) or equivalent certification is preferred.
