I have an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to relocate from the UK to Dubai as a Social Media and Content Specialist where you will be working on a portfolio of brands in lifestyle, Health and Fitness, Events, Motorsports, and Private Equity.
Your responsibilities in the role
- Responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across major platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Snapchat
- Create engaging written and short-form videos tailored for each platform, understanding the nuances of all formats
- Plan and organise content shoots effectively
- Submit clear briefs to the Graphic Design and Videography teams using Monday.com
- Identify and collaborate with influencers to amplify brand reach and engagement
- Liaise with the Digital Marketing team to execute effective paid social media campaigns and optimise ads for maximum ROI; utilising A/B testing methodologies
- Develop and execute content schedules with clear objectives and KPIs to align with overall business goals
- Utilise analytic tools such as Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, and other native analytic tools to analyse data, report to management and make data-driven recommendations
- Monitor competitors, trends, and emerging channels to stay up-to-date with changes in the social media landscape
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of social media marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in either Marketing, English, Communications or a related field
- A strong portfolio of engaging written, social media expertise, and visual storytelling skills
- Can evidence impact and growth on social media channels in previous roles
- Highly creative with strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing budgets for social media campaigns, ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Passionate for data-driven decision-making and have the ability to track and analyse performance across platforms
- Experience in developing and revising social media strategies
- Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform
- Skilled in using creative tools like Figma, CapCut, and native video editing features across social media platforms
- Proven ability to build social media communities and measure the success of campaigns
- Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills
- Proficient in operating professional camera/video equipment
- Editing raw material (photos & videos captured) using current software
