Description:
The Social Media Manager’s purpose is to increase the awareness, reputation, and engagement of Emirates Draw and its related brands, within the Media and Consumer Target Audiences, across the UAE and key external markets.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and results-driven individual, with hands-on experience in creating compelling content, handling various social media platforms, and managing media relations, in addition to monitoring news, creating coverage reports and implementing events.
Responsibilities
- Support the PR & SM Director in developing the PR & SM strategies and help implement all Public Relations Social Media and CSR activities, including setting the strategy, tactics, implementation, measuring and reporting
- Assist in the planning and execution of projects
- Create compelling content for various platforms, including SM, website, news stories and scripts
- Maintain brand consistency across platforms and business functions
- Manage media relations, including pitching stories and responding to inquiries
- Organize and attend still and video shoots of winners
- Monitor news and coverage reports
- Stay current on market trends and competitive activity
- Support and execute events including draw shows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, journalism, or related field
- 2-3 years’ agency or marketing experience
- Demonstrate effective communications skills
- Possess flawless English and Arabic languages skills
- Experience in developing press releases, SM calendars, media relations, and events planning
- Have a high attention to detail
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to provide exceptional client service, research, and demonstrated commitment to continuous learning
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and able to craft concise, elegant, story-telling presentations
