Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented professional looking to lead a team and ensure exceptional service delivery within a bustling organization? We have an exciting opportunity for a Soft Services Supervisor for one of the prestigious government institutions in Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Take charge of day-to-day operations within the company, ensuring all services are executed on time and in alignment with, or better than, agreed service levels.
- Proactive Inspections: Perform constant inspections throughout the building to anticipate and identify operational issues, taking immediate action to ensure all service requirements are met.
- Project Management: Manage projects or implementations of new services, equipment, or amenities in collaboration with relevant service providers.
- Service Issue Resolution: Act as a first responder in case of service complaints, handling issues hands-on and reporting to the line manager for further action.
- Coordination: Orchestrate service operations to ensure alignment and minimal disruption during catering functions, training sessions, events, and VIP delegation visits.
- Reporting: Prepare a daily dashboard report for the soft services team, highlighting key metrics such as the number of visitors, events, meetings, VIP visits, and training. This helps in optimizing visitor and employee experiences.
- Staffing: Ensure sufficient staffing coverage in different service areas, monitor requirements, and allocate resources efficiently.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and decisively to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
- KPI Management: Review service reports from various providers and prepare notes for the line managers review to maintain efficient KPI management for all services.
- Additional Responsibilities: Participate in preparing and monitoring the sections budget, prepare periodic activity reports, and perform other related duties in the field of specialization.
RequirementsTo be considered for the role, the successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in a related job functions and at a managerial level.
- Able to deal with a high pressure environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in facilities management or hospitality.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Ability to handle and resolve complaints effectively.
- Emergency response and crisis management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Budget management experience is an asset.
