Sound Operator

Description:

The sound operator will be responsible for mixing the audio within a pavilion both for PA and for a livestream, ensuring clear and consistent audio to both throughout. This will involve using an Allen and Heath QU16 or similar sound desk, cabled lapel/headset/handheld microphones and active speakers. The larger pavilions will also feature radio microphones for audience interaction, Zoom two ways and video/audio playback as well as a larger production/technical team.

All operators will be the point of contact for audio within their pavilion and will be expected to deal face to face with clients whilst being aware of cultural sensitivities.
