Experience required : 5+ years

 

Key Responsibilities:

 Splunk Platform Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Splunk environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

 

 Data Ingestion and Parsing: Manage the ingestion of diverse data sources, ensuring accurate parsing, indexing, and normalization for effective analysis.

 

 Dashboard and Report Development: Design and develop custom dashboards, reports, and alerts tailored to business requirements, facilitating actionable insights.

 

 Search Query Optimization: Craft and optimize complex search queries using Splunk's Search Processing Language (SPL) to enhance data retrieval efficiency.

 

 Security Monitoring: Utilize Splunk for real-time security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response to safeguard organizational assets.

 

 User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, promoting effective utilization of

 

Splunk's features and functionalities.

 System Integration: Integrate Splunk with other tools and platforms to create a cohesive ecosystem for comprehensive data analysis.

 

 Technical Proficiency:

o In-depth understanding of Splunk architecture, components, and best practices.

o Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.

o Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts.

 

 Analytical Skills:

o Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful insights.

o Experience in data visualization and creating intuitive dashboards.
