The client is a growing global conference business with a strong presence in the Middle East. Due to continued expansion of their growing portfolios a role has arisen for a talented & entrepreneurial sponsorship sales manager to work on large scale events.

Key Individual Skills Include -

· Intelligence, equally adept at selling complex products both on the phone or face to face.

· A consultative approach using initiatives to identify client needs to the right package

· An ambitious individual looking for a career and not just a job.

Day to Day Duties

  • Consultative sales to existing and potential new clients to meet sales revenue targets
  • Tenacious business development lead sourcing and closing skills, particularly international sales
  • Upselling higher yield packages to loyal key account sponsors
  • Developing and maintaining excellent relationships with key account sponsors and exhibitors
  • Keeping abreast of market developments and identifying and researching new growth areas for sponsorship sales
  • Attending industry functions when required
  • In conjunction with the Management Team developing strategies and initiatives to ensure the ongoing growth and development of the conferences
  • Monitoring and evaluation of all competitor activity
