Sports Equipment Sales Representative

 

Description:

Reporting to the managing director, and collaborating with every functional team at Profit Sports Solutions, you will be part of a fast growing, fun and entrepreneurial team. The Sales Representative is primarily responsible for helping build a new sports and fitness market by generating sales while also growing interest in Profit Sports potential suppliers. This role will also be responsible for maintaining existing buyer accounts while also generating new sales and partners across their territory of business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales in a start-up environment, as well as strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. The Sales Representative will have a managerial mindset and be willing to get your hands dirty across functions.

 

*This position is for sports and fitness equipment sales experience. Knowledge of gym and sports facility equipment and training equipment will make you stand out as a candidate for this position.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

· Generate new leads and qualify prospects for new fitness equipment

 

· Develop and maintain relationships with customers

 

· Conduct sales presentations and close deals

 

· Negotiate contracts, and determine pricing and terms of sale

 

· Track and report on sales performance

 

· Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends

 

This position requires:

 

· Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to jump into any and all tasks to help the company succeed

 

· Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales goals

 

· Experience in sports and fitness suppliers, equipment, development lead times.

 

· Demonstrated experience of owning and growing commercial relationships, i.e. continuously selling Profit Sports Solutions services to grow the business

 

· Ability to think horizontally across many customers and their needs and strategically connect those needs to Profit Sports Solutions

 

· Strong interpersonal skills. Comfortable communicating to senior management and business leaders in a clear and effective manner

 

· Comfortable in an ambiguous, fast-paced and high growth start-up environment

 

· Proactivity. Acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company

 

· 2+ years of experience in sales

 

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

 

· Ability to travel, and MUST have a valid drivers license

 

· Knowledge of Arabic and English language

 

Ideal if you have some combination of:

 

· Gym and sports equipment experience

 

· Sales or customer success experience

 

· Experience at a start-up

 

· Interest or experience in the circular economy
