Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement, inventory control, vendor relationships, logistics coordination, and overall supply chain optimization to support the company’s catering operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records of all catering supplies, including perishable and non-perishable items.
- Implement inventory control techniques to minimize wastage, ensure freshness, and prevent stockouts.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team to forecast demand and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Generate month end reports for kitchen / store and reconciliation with the support of kitchen and store team.
- Generate and review margin analyst report.
- New product or cost price update with proper comparison / margin review.
- Recipe review and new recipe update.
- Maintaining and creating new item codes with correct unit of measurement.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers based on factors such as quality, delivery times, and responsiveness.
- Coordinate the timely and efficient transportation of supplies to various catering locations.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize routes, manage delivery schedules, and minimize transportation costs.
- Ensure that all supplies meet the required quality standards and adhere to relevant health and safety regulations.
- Perform regular quality checks on incoming supplies and work closely with suppliers to address any quality concerns.
- Monitor and analyse supply chain costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
- Implement strategies to control costs while maintaining quality standards and service levels.
- Identify areas for improvement within the supply chain process and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness.
- Utilize data and analytics to generate insights on supply chain performance, identifying trends and potential areas of improvement.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key metrics and accomplishments.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in supply chain management, preferably within the catering or food industry.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
- Experience and understanding of SAP/Oracle ERP, Fusion etc.
