Description:
The VP of Talent Management and Learning and Development will lead the design and execution of strategies and initiatives that help our client/company to find, keep, and grow its best employees. The role covers the areas of hiring, developing, and retaining talent, fostering a welcoming and supportive work culture, managing the budget for learning and development activities, and measuring the impact of training programs.
Main Accountabilities:-
- Align talent management and learning and development strategies and initiatives with the company’s business goals and objectives, and implement them effectively.
- Design and deliver various talent development programs, such as e-learning, classroom-based training, coaching, mentoring, leadership development, and others, to enhance employees’ skills and competencies.
- Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective vendor management, program design, and delivery.
- Use data and analytics to measure the impact of talent management and learning and development programs on employees’ performance and productivity, and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify skills gaps and development needs, and to create development plans that support employee growth and career progression.
- Maintain relationships with external training providers, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay updated on the latest learning and development trends and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development that supports the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and promotes talent management and learning and development values.
- Lead a team of talent management and learning and development professionals, providing them with leadership, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality talent development and training services are provided to employees.
