Tax & Accounting Manager

Description:

We have an immediate opening for a Tax & Accounting Manager to join our team. An ideal candidate would be:

· Responsible for the implementation of tax strategy and tax risk analyses.

· Read the client's tax compliance according to the relevant tax law and practice including timely submission of the tax returns.

· Liaising with tax authorities regarding tax audits and other requests.

· Ensure tax compliance, reporting, and filing of tax returns with an external tax consultant.

· Support team to disrupt, improve and evolve ways of working when necessary.

· Review of tax assessments & advances, advise clients on payments and prepare/ review year-end tax provisions.

· You will be required to liaise with the other advisors both internally and externally to ensure all tax submissions accurately reflect all transactions within tax reporting.

· As a Tax Manager, you will be expected to contribute fully to the development of the organization and to take on new responsibilities if required to further develop identified opportunities for the company.

Requirements:

· Master's degree, Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Law, or Finance

. Ideal knowledge about the upcoming UAE Corporate Tax laws and IFRS, is a must

. Finalization of Accounts, Accounting & Book keeping, Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Structuring, Internal Auditing

· A professional (tax or accounting) qualification (e.g., CA, ACA, CTA, ADIT, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.

· Knowledge of UBO, GoAML, and ESR is an advantage

· You have proven advisory and compliance experience across corporate tax, direct tax, etc

· You have strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

· You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.

· Minimum experience required is 3 years in a Senior Corporate role. UAE experience is a must.
