Technical Buyer With Sales

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of technical products and services, negotiating with suppliers, and supporting our sales team with technical insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent negotiation skills, and a knack for sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed

• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best deals for the company

• Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to understand technical requirements

• Maintain and update procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains

• Provide technical support and insights to the sales team to help close deals and drive business growth

• Monitor market trends and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities for procurement and sales.

Position requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

• Proven experience as a Technical Buyer or in a similar procurement role

• Strong sales skills with a track record of supporting sales teams and driving revenue growth

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and requirements

• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
