Technical Drawing Teacher

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Technical Drawing Teacher with expertise in Graphic Products for our Cambridge IGCSE program to start in August 2024. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and a profound understanding of technical drawing principles and CAD softwares. As a vital member of our team, you will inspire students to develop their design and technical skills while preparing them for success in their academic and professional pursuits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging and rigorous technical drawing lessons tailored to the needs of Cambridge IGCSE students, with a specialization in Graphic Products.

- Cultivate an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.

- Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to facilitate their academic growth and achievement.

- Collaborate with colleagues to design and refine curriculum materials, assessments, and enrichment activities.

- Stay abreast of current trends and advancements in technical drawing, engineering, and education.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Architecture, Civil) or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.

- Extensive experience teaching technical drawing, with a focus on Graphic Products, preferably at the secondary level.

- Proficiency in technical drawing principles and practices, including CAD software proficiency (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or Onshape).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.

- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative learning environment.
