Technical Engineer

 

Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering along with 5-10 years of experience in a technical or engineering department within the construction industry. Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, internet usage, and AutoCAD is essential for this role. The Technical Engineer will be responsible for reading and understanding complex drawings, revising or creating drawings to resolve issues, and demonstrating knowledge of basic steel, concrete, electrical, and mechanical construction. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required, along with familiarity in handling relevant IT software.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1. Technical Expertise:

- Utilize expertise in civil engineering principles to analyze and interpret complex drawings and technical documentation.

- Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and implementing engineering concepts related to steel, concrete, electrical, and mechanical construction.

 

2. Drawing Revision and Creation:

- Review and revise drawings to resolve issues and ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.

- Create new drawings as needed, incorporating changes and updates to support project progress.

 

3. Software Proficiency:

- Utilize MS Office, PowerPoint, internet tools, and AutoCAD effectively to support technical documentation and drawing processes.

- Handle relevant IT software to streamline engineering tasks and enhance productivity.

 

4. Problem Solving:

- Identify and analyze technical issues, proposing effective solutions to ensure project success.

- Collaborate with project teams to address challenges and optimize construction processes.

 

5. Communication:

- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and contractors, to convey technical information and address concerns.

- Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external use.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (4-year course).

- 5-10 years of experience in a technical or engineering department within the construction industry.

- Proficiency in MS Office, PowerPoint, internet usage, and AutoCAD.

- Ability to read and understand complex drawings and technical documentation.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to revise or create drawings to resolve issues.

- Knowledge of basic steel, concrete, electrical, and mechanical construction principles.

- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.

- Experience with relevant IT software is preferred.
