Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer with a background in Chemical Engineering and expertise in water desalination systems. Based in Dubai, this role involves technical consultation, solution development, and sales strategies to drive the adoption of our water treatment technologies. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical acumen and sales expertise, coupled with a passion for addressing critical water challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand customer requirements and provide technically sound solutions for water desalination and treatment projects.
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets, focusing on key markets in the Middle East and beyond.
- Build strong relationships with clients by offering expert guidance, conducting product demonstrations, and addressing technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to customize solutions and ensure seamless implementation.
- Identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including cost analysis, product specifications, and performance guarantees.
- Visit clients, project sites, and industry events as needed to expand market reach and strengthen customer relationships.
Candidate Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in water desalination, water treatment, or related industries.
- Proven track record in technical sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to devise innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and sales tools (e.g., CRM software, design software).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
