Description:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Travel Agent to join our team at VOLO Travel & Tourism (Member of ZMI Holdings) . This role involves managing the travel & hotel bookings and arrangements for our team members.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, having a proven working experience in similar role and familiar with related booking systems and capable of working under pressure with no or minimum level of supervision in addition to exceptional organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the travel & hotel booking arrangements for our team members, including flights, accommodation, and transportation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations such as IATA.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with different airline agents insuring the best quotes are always maintained as per the company's policy.
- Support in sourcing different corporate agreements with approved hotels within the company's regional operational countries.
- Manage inventory and pricing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain a positive office culture that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure the agency remains competitive and relevant.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification in travel or hospitality management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the travel industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability of quick turnaround of urgent business related requests.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and travel booking systems.
