Are you passionate about travel and dedicated to providing exceptional service to clients? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Travel Agent to join our team. As a Travel Agent, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their travel needs, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, itinerary planning, and more. Proficiency in reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide personalized travel services to clients, including booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages.
2. Utilize Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo reservation systems to search for and book travel services according to clients' preferences and budget.
3. Create customized travel itineraries based on clients' requirements, including multiple destinations, layovers, and transportation options.
4. Compare fares, availability, and restrictions across different airlines and travel providers to offer clients the best options for their trips.
5. Accommodate special requests from clients, such as seat preferences, meal preferences, and wheelchair assistance, by communicating with airlines and other service providers.
6. Process payments securely and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payment protocols and industry regulations.
7. Stay updated on promotional offers, discounts, and loyalty programs offered by travel suppliers to provide clients with value-added options.
8. Assist clients with travel documentation, including passports, visas, and travel insurance, and ensure compliance with entry requirements for international destinations.
9. Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding travel destinations, attractions, activities, and local customs.
10. Address any issues or concerns raised by clients before, during, or after their trips with professionalism and efficiency.
11. Stay informed about the latest trends, developments, and updates in the travel industry through ongoing training and professional development.
12. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, preferences, and travel habits.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience as a Travel Agent or in a similar role. (Minimum 2 years)
2. Proficiency in reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Knowledge of travel documentation requirements and entry regulations.
