Description:
To undertake the operational treasury management and monitoring of external funding requirements in compliance with the Group’s established policies and procedures. Assist to the management on development and implementation of the company strategy with specific regard to finance, as well as create long term financial planning to optimize facilities and develop treasury team.
To deliver the security and valuation function, to ensure security is available for current and future funding programmes.
Major role is managing Bank Facilities, cash management, and cash flow.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and Manage the Trade finance activity for business and controlling the issuance of LC's, Bank Guarantees, settling bills and other trade finance instruments on time to avoid delays and costs.
- Analysing various scenarios and risks and reporting to senior management and Forecasting of medium and long- term funding and financing
- Arranging project financing and Equity Financing, Preparing Capex and Opex Analysis and working with banks for project base financing as and when required.
- Arranging the project cash flow for newly awarded project for financing , and update the running project cash flow for continuity of facility.
- To ensure that companies policies and procedures, internal controls and DOA are being in place as per Management guidelines and provide.
- To ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting information, analysis and reporting in accordance with standards and company policies and procedures and to coordinate with the Internal and External Auditors for conducting and finalized internal as well as external audit and general tax authorities.
- Monitoring the projects related trade finance operations, ensure their timely completion, achievement of objectives and cost efficiencies. Execute transactions within pre-set standardized turnaround times for all trade finance activities and service level agreements with business units.
- Reviewing funding needs, monthly reporting of all treasury activities to senior management.
- Review and provide the feedback on Guarantee text for projects suitable for business.
- Closely monitor project progress for exposure reduction on Advance payment guaranties to avoid additional commission and reduction on contingent risk.
- Provide proficiency to procurement / operation for negotiation of LC terms and condition which is cost efficiencies and favorable for business.
- Manage the long and short-term liquidity of the Business, control and manage its debt position at reporting dates, including focused working capital management.
- Manage and control the forecasting, budgeting and accounting of monthly interest charges.
- Reviewing and monitoring the bank guarantee and letter of credit including the issuance, amendment, and cancellation
- Maintain good communication and build positive working relationships with the team.
- Monitor and collaborate effectively with the team for get things done on time.
- Makes sure team has clear objectives and members are engaged on their respective assignments
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree i.e. Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar.
- Relevant professional qualification i.e. Chartered Accountant (CPA, ACCA, CA India, CA Pakistan and similar), CIMA/CMA, CFA
- Financial reporting and accounting standards (IFRS)
- Financial controls and governance
- Sound knowledge of Treasury management & Financial Planning
- Able to keep calm under pressure and a diplomatic but firm manner.
