Description:
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our users.
UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web and mobile applications, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you’ll create both functional and appealing features that address our users’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

Responsibilities
- Create feature requirements using competitor analysis, user surveys, and interviews.
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
- Facilitate our product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products.
- Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions.
- Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core and new functions and features.
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
- Create and use design systems (DSMs) for the products to increase design component reusability and set a unified tone of design for the apps.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas.
- Work closely with the product manager to suggest improvements for products and processes.
Requirements
- Work experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer or similar Design role. Experience in the Fintech domain is a plus. Understanding Islamic Fintech is a huge plus.
- Experienced with tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Illustrator.
- Experienced in both UI and UX, good understanding of brand value, setting the tone of the product & crafting user journeys independently.
- Proven experience in all phases of the design process, including user research, copywriting, wire-framing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.
- Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile interfaces.
- A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
- Good understanding of Android design principles and iOS Human interface guidelines.
- An intuitive eye for the customer needs beyond the obvious and an excellent attention to detail.
- A well-rounded portfolio of client work, demonstrating a strong understanding of client objectives
- Ability to effectively communicate and persuade around design concepts.
- Experience in motion design to craft product videos is a plus.
