Description:
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team immediately. The ideal candidate will assist veterinarians in consultations and treatments, manage medication stocks, maintain hygiene protocols, and ensure exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and treatments.
- Prepare and maintain the clinical area, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments under the supervision of a veterinarian.
- Monitor and provide care for hospitalized animals, including feeding, cleaning, and observing behavior.
- Maintain accurate patient records in the clinic's practice management system (PMS).
- Manage medication inventory and ensure proper storage and stock levels.
- Educate clients about post-treatment care, nutrition, and preventive measures.
- Uphold hygiene and safety protocols within the clinic.
Requirements:
- Must be based in the UAE and available to join immediately.
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Nurse, preferably in a busy clinic environment.
- Diploma or degree in Veterinary Nursing or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures, animal care, and medication administration.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
- Proficiency in using practice management software is a plus.
