Videographer Content Creator

Description:

Sand Sherpa is looking for a Content Creator with a passion for creating engaging social media content to join our team. A key part of the Digital Marketing team, the ideal candidate will have the right creative and technical skills required to drive engagement on Instagram and Facebook and grow the brand's audience across all channels. The candidate will work on-site at the desert camp and from the accommodation (desert farm) for the majority of the week, and will be required to work from the studio, when necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Produce visual content (photos and videos) for Sand Sherpa's social media platforms to align with the content calendar, from shooting to editing, and cover camps, safaris and live events 

• Organise photo and video shoots for new products/experiences

• Familiar with photo and video editing software (Adobe Suite)

• Able to brainstorm creative campaign ideas and work with the team to conceptualise and develop content

• Meet weekly targets as agreed with the Digital Marketing team Study insights and refine the brand's social media strategy accordingly 

• Liaise with the marketing team to assist in creating timely, relevant content Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:

Driving license

• Excellent communication skills

Ability to use DSLR photography/video equipment

• Tech savvy and has knowledge of the social media landscape

Familiarity with the Adobe Suite for photo and video editing

• Understanding of the Middle East's dynamic cultural identity

Ready to join from September 2023 and available during the camping season that will run until May 2024. Camps run daily (including weekends) from 15:00 to 10:00 the next day

Knowledge of working with social media management and analytics tools is not essential but preferred
