Description:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Program Director to lead and deliver large-scale Workday HR and Finance transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-functional, multicultural teams and engaging with C-level executives. This role requires fluency in Japanese and English, and the ability to navigate complex program portfolios in diverse sectors such as banking, insurance, construction, and pharma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end Workday HR and Finance transformation programs, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Manage program portfolios ranging from 5 to 50+ projects, focusing on HR and Finance functions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, including C-level executives, providing strategic guidance and fostering strong relationships.
- Oversee cross-functional teams of 20 to 200 professionals, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration across departments.
- Apply expertise in a range of technologies, including Workday, SAP, Oracle, Unit4, Tagetik, OneStream, Coupa, Sidetrade, Kansys, Basware, and Kyriba.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive digital transformation and optimize operational efficiency.
- Manage multi-country program rollouts, ensuring compliance with local regulations and cultural sensitivity.
Key Qualifications:
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in Japanese and English; proficiency in French or Dutch is a significant advantage.
- Experience: 15+ years in HR and Finance functions with a focus on digital transformation, ideally in diverse sectors such as banking, insurance, construction, and pharma.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering Workday HR and Finance transformation projects.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multicultural, cross-functional teams ranging from mid-sized (20) to large (200).
- Expertise in project portfolio management and working with international teams across countries such as Japan, the US, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and others.
- Strong technical knowledge of Workday and other enterprise technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to senior stakeholders effectively.
